A Promise Here; A Blessing There
My Precious Father, I bow low
With praise and honor to bestow.
All I need you've given me --
Jesus Christ to set me free!
A promise here; a blessing there!
How can the world even compare?
My riches far outweigh the strain
Of Daily struggles; of earthly pain!
I'm sure that's why the peace inside
Compels my soul to thee confide
That in your love my heart delights
To be announced a soldier of might!
I know, with you, the battle is won -
And in the end when the race is run,
I'll be with you forevermore!
Our Home, unveiled -- 'tis Heaven's door!
No greater promise or blessing can be
Than that Home prepared for me!
How can the world even compare
With a promise HERE; and a blessing THERE!
