Thank you dear Friend for your closeness to me in times of need.
Thank you dear Friend for your listening ear, your compassion as
        I go through times of sorrow and grief.
Thank you dear Friend for the wonderful beauty of nature you have given me.
Thank you for all the animals, the flowers that add so much beauty to the world-the sun for its warmth and the sea.
Thank you dear Friend for the many others who care
        and watch over me in this life.
Thank you dear Friend for guiding me through this
        world with all its trouble and strife.
And last but not least, dear Friend, thank you for dying for my sins so someday I can talk with you face to face and feel the warmth in your embrace knowing you love me always until the end.
